Servers crash or send players to the menu mid-match, losing bought kits and cash

Official servers crash or send players back to the main menu ("returning to menu") partway through a match, often 5 to 15 minutes in, and players lose the kits and cash they bought for that match; single players report losing up to about 70K. Players on NA West reported it from October 22, and players on EU servers, including EU Central, repeatedly from the morning of October 23. There is no official acknowledgement yet.

    Oct 25: a player with 300+ hours gets the red broken-chain icon and is kicked to the main menu as soon as they reach the combat zone, every match.
