Whole PC freezes and needs a hard reboot

Since the Season 5 update, some PC players say Battlefield 6 freezes the entire computer, with no error message, at launch, during shader compilation, in menus or mid-match. Only a hard reboot gets them out, and some PCs restart on their own. Players were still reporting it on October 23. No acknowledgement from EA or Battlefield Studios yet.

    Translated from Russian: Oct 25, a player with a Ryzen 7800X3D says the whole PC now freezes and then blue-screens with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION, even before reaching the menu; reinstalling the anti-cheat used to help but no longer does.
