"Latest version of EA Javelin Anticheat is required" blocks launch on PC

On PC, the game can refuse to start with "The latest version of EA Javelin Anticheat is required to play", and updating through the Javelin installer fails. Repairing or reinstalling EA Javelin Anticheat fixed it for some players but not all. EA support is troubleshooting in the thread; no known-issue acknowledgement yet.

Can you try relaunching the EA app and running it as administrator, then launching from the EA app? If the error persists, please try reinstalling EA Javelin Anticheat.”

    “Everytime I try to start the game it says "The latest version of EA Javelin Anticheat is required to play." I went to the website it says to update on and I downloaded the Javelin installer. Then I cant use the program to Update or Repair my anticheat and the game wont run.”
